So you spend your life looking for a beach like this and what do you do .... put it on a website!!??

I found it too before you, and chose to keep it to myself - an idyllic deserted beach.

You, however have turned it into Disneyland. Now, whenever I go back, there are more tourists contaminating the sanctity of what was once, in your words, a real castaway beach.

In the words of the Eagles -'call someplace paradise, kiss it goodbye'- thanks to people like you.

Over the years it never occurred to me that this beach would be publicised, but it is so full of tourists now I checked on the net and found that you had destroyed my paradise.

Thanks a bunch.

Hi Garry, I'm not sure if you had a chance to visit Harrismith again before leaving Barbados but you'll find it's quite a bit different with the reef creating a shallow lagoon - photo here: http://www.barbados.org/harrismith-beach-barbados.htm

Still lovely and still deserted though!
