Barbados Photo Blog, Has Become a Reality
A few days ago I launched my new blog called Barbados Photo Blog, which as the name obviously suggests is going to be a blog with what I personally feel are interesting pictures of Barbados taken by myself. The plan is to publish one picture every day for the next year, once I have taken 365 pictures relating to Barbados, I will let it run free by itself on the Internet forever.
I aim to capture a huge variety of different images of life in Barbados and show what the country is all about. I may not be the best photographer in the world but I have a good eye for an interesting picture. Hopefully I can show the world what Barbados has to offer not only as a tourist attraction, but I also plan on trying to capture the soul of the country somewhere along the line.
The camera I will be using is nothing fancy, in fact it is just a simple Casio Xfilm 7.2 MegaPixel Digital camera, I will not be altering the pictures I take in Photoshop CS2, other than to crop them. You could say the pictures, which I take will be real pictures as to how something really looked at that given point in time when I took it.
Barbados is a truly beautiful island, with a lot of natural beauty, which includes its beaches, and the countryside as well as offering a huge variety of interesting normal day-to-day photo opportunities. I suppose I’m fortunate in the fact that Barbados offers me thousands of great photo opportunities.
I just have to remember to take my camera out with me more often, because I keep I have missed so many great shots already, but that’s the beauty of Barbados because I know there is going to be plenty more just around the corner.
