Letting Time Slip Away In Barbados

It is real hot today in Barbados and it has totally zapped me, I haven’t even got the strength to go and enjoy one of the many amazing beaches on the island. I sort of have just collapsed on my settee and am just letting time slip away without doing anything constructive.

I could do with an ice-cold beer or three but I will wait until the sun goes down and things hopefully cool down before I head to the shop and stock up.

Meantime I have found an quotation written by a great mind, which I find truly inspirational and they are wise words indeed.

“The question for each man to settle is not what he would do if he had means, time, influence and educational advantages; the question is what he will do with the things he has. The moment a young man ceases to dream or to bemoan his lack of opportunities and resolutely looks his conditions in the face, and resolves to change them, he lays the corner stone of a solid and honourable success.”
