Bridgetown Delights For The Wandering Scotsman
Another day in Barbados and another dollar for my survival and moving forwards with my life fund. I have a long long way to go until I don’t have to worry about money, paying bills, putting food on the table and general day to day living, but I suppose I cant complain because I sure aint starving.
I haven’t been into Bridgetown, which is the Capital of Barbados for what seems like ages, so it was kind of fun to get the opportunity to enjoy the sites and sounds of the capital of the island.
My primary reason for heading into town was to receive some money from a business deal from a while back, which I was glad to receive. It wasn’t a fortune, but $5000BDS will keep me going for a wee while. The queue to pay the money into my Scotia Bank account wasn’t fun, but that’s something I would rather forget.
I had few other things to do in various parts of the centre of Bridgetown, It sure is great fun wandering around the Capital and getting the chance to do a wee bit of shopping.
Buy the time I had finished all my meetings and tasks in Bridgetown it was 12.30pm and time to end my working day, I had been up since 4 am doing work. So I guess I had earned an early finish, well I feel I had and I suppose since I am my own boss, I can decide.
Before I headed back home I went for a relaxing Heineken or two at a bar overlooking the Boardwalk and looking out to the Caribbean Sea. What a fantastic end to my working day, ice cold Heineken Lager, the warm sunshine of Barbados and an amazing view of the clear blue sea.
